1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Nethaul app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Nethaul is — and is not
Nethaul is a bookkeeping and record-keeping tool that helps truck owner-operators track income, expenses, and trips and organize them into summaries. Nethaul is not a tax, legal, accounting, or financial-advisory service, and does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice. The summaries and figures it produces are for your own record-keeping convenience. Always verify all figures and consult a qualified tax professional or CPA before filing returns or making financial decisions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You retain ownership of the data you enter; you grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it back to you as part of providing the Service.
4. Accuracy and your responsibility for figures
Automated features — including receipt scanning and calculated summaries — can contain errors or misread data. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying all entries and totals before relying on them for any purpose, including tax filings. Nethaul is not responsible for tax penalties, interest, or other consequences arising from reliance on figures in the app.
5. Your data and backups
You can export all of your data from the Service at any time. While we maintain cloud backups, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important records. We are not liable for any loss of data.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and terms will be shown before you purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed and managed by Apple under its terms; any subscriptions offered through our website are billed by our payment processor. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users’ data, disrupting the Service, reverse-engineering it, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that figures it produces are accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nethaul and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, or for tax penalties or interest, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
